Apnea world record - 88m without fins

On 10 April 2009 the New Zealand diver William Trubridge set a new world record in free diving without fins and descend 88 meters without assistance of any kind. For three interminable minutes and 30 seconds, Trubridge descended to the depths of Dean's Blue Hole (Bahamas) and returned to tell the tale.
