Thomas Morgenstern, the hero of the Olympic ski jump in Austria, is in serious condition today after suffering a terrible fall during practice specialty Ski Jumping Nordic Station Kulm (Austria).
The athlete, of 27 years old, suffers its second major crash in less than a month after the one in the second round of the World Cup Nordic ski jumping finals in the German town of Titisee-Neustadt, on 13 December.
Morgenstern has one of the best resumes in the history of ski jumping with twelve gold medals in World Championships and Olympic Games (Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010).
